How to Archive a Class

  • Mar 5
  • 1 min read

If you no longer need a class (for example, at the end of a term or academic year), you can archive it instead of deleting it.

How to Archive a Class

When you are inside a class, click 'Manage' from the top menu.

  1. Click the "Archive" button.

  2. A confirmation message will appear letting you know how many students are in the class. Confirm to proceed.

What happens when you archive a class?

Archiving a class removes it from your active class list, but it does not delete your data. All of your marked work, grades, feedback, and learning objectives are kept safe and will still be there if you decide to restore the class later.

If you're simply tidying up at the end of a term, archiving is a safe way to do it without losing any of your work.
