Why aren't my feedback coversheets printing? (Common problems)

If nothing happens when you click Print, a student is missing, or the page doesn't look right, it's usually one of these.

"Nothing to print yet"

None of the students have a grade or feedback for this assessment yet. Mark some work, then try again.

A student is missing from my coversheets

A student only gets a coversheet if they have at least one grade or comment for this assessment. Check that you've marked their work on the Overview tab.

Nothing opened when I clicked Print

Coversheets open in a new browser tab. If nothing appears:

• Look for a pop-up blocked icon in your browser's address bar.

• Click it and choose to always allow pop-ups from MarkMate.

• Click Print again.

  
  

The writing on a coversheet is very small

MarkMate always fits each student onto one A4 page, so long feedback makes the text smaller. To make room, reduce the Handwriting lines, or untick items under Include that you don't need.

The page is cut off or has a large blank border

In your printer settings, set the paper size to A4 and the scale to 100% or Actual size, not "Fit to page".
