How to edit a resource

1 min read

You can rename a resource, add a description, change its type, or swap in an updated file, such as a corrected mark scheme.

Steps

  1. Click Resources at the top of the screen.

  2. Click the resource you want to change.

  3. Change the title, the description ("What's in this document?") or the type.

  4. To upload a newer version of the document, choose Replace file and pick the new file. To keep the current one, choose Keep existing file.

  5. Save your changes.

Good to know

  • Replacing the file updates it everywhere it's attached, including colleagues' assessments.

  • After replacing a file, MarkMate reads it again (Extracting…), and it may rename or retype it based on the new contents.
