How to change the label size (or use a custom size)

If your labels come out the wrong size or get cut off, the label size in MarkMate probably doesn't match the labels in your printer. MarkMate has three common sizes built in, and you can type in your own.

Steps

  1. Open the print window for your assessment (Markbook → '•••' → Print…).

  2. Under Label size, choose one of:

100 × 60 mm: large labels, good for longer feedback

    90 × 29 mm: long, thin labels

    62 × 29 mm: small labels

  3. If none of these match, click Custom, then type the Width and Height of your label in millimetres. You can use anything from 20 to 300 mm.

  4. Check the size at the bottom of the window. It shows something like "Feedback labels · 62 × 29 mm · opens as a PDF".

  5. Click Print.

Tip: The size is usually printed on the box or roll your labels came in. MarkMate will remember your size next time.
