HP Reveal

HP Reveal is a simple, but incredibly effective idea. It makes any image scannable with an iOS or Android smartphone or table come alive when it is scanned. You link an associated action with the image, which can be anything such as play a movie, show an explanation, load a website etc. It brings extra depth to paper posters, images, QR-codes, or literally anything else.

CoSpaces edu

CoSpaces edu is a content creation app for students. In the app, students can build their own 3D objects and animate them with code. Anything made in the app can be explored within the VR and AR view modes. The app enables students to project their virtual creations onto any surface in the real world in AR. You can even hold the creations in your hands with the MERGE Cube.

Wonderscope uses AR to transform real-world locations into realtime stories. It helps students learn to read, and allows students to ask questions to the characters in the story and listen to their answers.

Layar allows you to enhance flyers, postcards, packaging or any other item with interactive content. You can add videos, website, music, pretty much any content you can think of. Imagine how much more interesting you could make a paper worksheet!

Shapes 3D

Shapes 3D is an amazing tool for teaching maths. Use it to create and explore prisms, pyramids, solids of revolution and Platonic solids. It aims to increase teachers’ abilities to show things that cannot be shown with physical tools or within the classroom.

Google Expeditions

Google Expeditions gives you a great mix between AR and VR. You’ll be able to guide your students through 360° scenes and 3D images. You can point out interesting sites and things as you go. Start using Expeditions and let your students explore history, science, arts, and the natural world. Expeditions is available on iOS and Android.

In Metaverse, your students can play games in AR, go geo-caching, make puzzles, choose their own adventure and go on scavenger hunts. With the Metaverse studio, you can create your own interactive stories and breakout games for your students.

Snapchat isn’t just the latest teenage craze, it’s also an incredibly powerful AR tool. Every one of their filters is built using AR, and your students can even create their own AR filters.

Google Translate

Yep, you’re reading that right. Using Google Translate, you can point your device at any words in a different language and Translate will use AR to display the English text over the top. Menus, road signs, or literally anything else you can think of. It’s a great tool for helping to teach languages.

AR Makr

AR Makr is an amazing solution for augmented reality for teachers. Your students will be able to sketch, scan, and snap the environment around them. They’ll be able to convert creations from 2D to 3D virtual objects. Once a 3D object has been created, students will be able to place them anywhere in their environment. They can also record, save, and share scenes with their teacher.
